Library

Library and Information Centre (LIC) is a service unit in the structure of the International Business School (IBS) and participates in building its information and communication infrastructure in order to create a comfortable information environment and access to national and global information resources. LIC provides a library of documents, databases and information - scientific, educational and professional training of students, teachers, postgraduates and staff. Its activity is regulated in accordance with "Rules of Organization and Operation of Library and Information Centre."


The objectives of the library are resulting from the educational priorities of IBS and are consistent with the strategy for its development by facilitating the professional, intellectual and cultural training of students and facilitate their effective modern scientific research.


Today the library has over 7400 volumes of scientific, academic and reference character in the field of economics, management, finance, law, accounting, tourism, psychology, philosophy, informatics and foreign language training and over 20 titles of periodicals, which are consistent with the profile training in IBS.


The Library offers its readers a variety of bibliographic information. Good conditions have been created for readers to obtain information both in traditional paper environment and in electronic environment, by offering choices for optimum way to obtain information services. Services such as oral references, printing of  created by students writing papers (essays, assignments, abstracts etc.) are also carried out and students are given the opportunity to use the available computer and information systems for the creation of various scientific developments related to learning process (theses, abstracts, assignments, etc.).
Each user has the possibility to quickly and easily select information resources needed by them. Library has works tations with access to the global Internet network.


The library has been working on automation of the library processes since 2005.  It maintains a very good software and easy to use reference system. We are building an electronic equivalent of the traditional alphabetical catalog of all library materials kept in its funds. The library maintains a very good software and easy to use reference system. Each user can quickly and easily select information resources needed by them.
