Publishing research work

Dear colleagues, IBS series “Research Work” publishes results of theoretical and applied research and research and development projects of university teachers and doctoral students at International Business School and other Bulgarian and foreign universities and scientific organisations. Texts for publication are submitted in 2 copies to IBS, Gurko Street 14, Botevgrad, Research Papers or electronically to nauchni.trudove@ibsedu.bg. The IBS series accepts texts of 30-40 pages length, written with Microsoft Office Word 7 or a compatible for Windows version, font size 12 and line spacing 1, 5.

The first page of the manuscript should contain the following information in Bulgarian and English: title, author’s name and family name, institutional affiliation, address for correspondence, phone, e-mail address, abstract up to 200 words, number of scientific field JEL classification (http://www.aeaweb.org/jel/jel_class_system.php), keywords.

The author is responsible for the correctness of the translation. The main text of the manuscript contains introduction, methodology, description of research and results obtained, conclusion. Footnotes are numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals. Above the tables and figures, the respective number and caption is indicated. Under them, the source is indicated. The list of references is placed after the main text; it is numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and sorted alphabetically by the author’s family name, first in Cyrillic and then in Latin or other scripts. Citation of literary sources in the main text is indexed in a footnote.

Manuscripts which do not meet the above requirements will be returned to the authors for editing. Manuscripts are reviewed and the decision for publication, editing or rejection is taken by the Editorial Board. The author receives two copies of the published work.

The IBS series accepts manuscripts which have not been published elsewhere. The approval for publication means that author’s copyright is transferred to the IBS series. The paper or a part of it may not be published in other books without written permission of the Editorial Board. The timeline for submitting manuscripts for a new issue of the IBS series is 30 October 2011.
