On 3 December 2011 the official ceremony for the awarding of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of class 2011 of International Business School was held in Hall 3 of National Palace of Culture.

In 2011, 20 years after the establishment of IBS, 1300 graduates – 997 in Bachelor’s programmes and in 303 Master’s programmes – have joined the big “family” of the higher school.

The formal performance of the students’ anthem of Gaudeamus Igitur was followed by the audience’s ovation of the fact that over 7000 graduates have become the strong and noteworthy community of IBS in Bulgaria.

The enormous, richly decorated hall had room for hundreds of graduates, guests and parents brought together by the great event in two consecutive formal procedures for Bachelors and Master of Business Finances, Accounting and Auditing, Project Management, Management and Consulting in International Tourism – Joint International Programme with NHTV Breda University, The Netherlands, Accounting and Control, International Economic Relations and Tourism.

In her speech, President Lena Gaydarska congratulated the graduates and the professors on the 20th anniversary of INS – years of dynamic progress and creation of modern academic structure with innovative spirit of entrepreneurship. The Rector of IBS, Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev, addressed the graduates and their parents with wishes for successful professional career and many personal achievements.

On behalf of the Management and Consulting in International Tourism Joint International Programme with NHTV Breda University, The Netherlands, Mr. Jost Der Stern greeted the graduates and thanked academic leadership for the successful leadership.

The Rector of IBS, Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev, gave the first diplomas to the excellent students of Class 2011: Masters Desislava Savova and Daniela Milenkova and Bachelors Milena Krumova and Valeria Terzijska.

The graduates’ diplomas in Management and Consulting in International Tourism were given away by the academic coordinator of the programme Prof. Peter Picket.

On behalf of Class 2011, Master’s programme, a word of thanks was presented by Desislava Savova, and Bachelor’s Programme – Milena Krumova.

During the second part of the official ceremony in the afternoon, the formal ceremony for awarding the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of Class 20111 was held. After greetings to graduates, Rector Ruslan Penchev gave the diplomas to the excellent students in Class 2011: Masters Tsvetan Nikolov and Albena Mateeva and Bachelor Dobrina Petkova.

After the ceremony, Master Tsvetan Nikolov and Bachelor Dobrina Petkova thanked the academic leadership, the professors and administration for the support and successful education at IBS.
